Every breast cancer journey deserves care
We fund the rides, copays, groceries and bills that stand between Maryland patients and the treatment that saves their lives. Help reaches them at no cost, through the hospitals that already care for them.

Your gift keeps patients in treatment
Cancer doesn't pause the bills. When a social worker at one of our 31 partner hospitals sees a patient about to miss treatment, they call us, and we pay an approved local business to cover the need.
- Medical costsCopays, prescriptions, prosthetics, genetic testing and counseling.
- Getting to treatmentGas cards, parking, tolls, metro passes and rides.
- Help at homeGroceries, meals, rent, utilities, cleaning and child care.

Why we're called The Red Devils
"Red devil" is what many survivors call the bright red chemotherapy drug that carried them through treatment.
Our name comes from Katherine Russell Rich's memoir The Red Devil: To Hell with Cancer and Back, a story of courage, grace and humor. We were founded in 2002 in memory of Jessica Cowling and Ginny Schardt, two women who refused to let cancer define them.
